The RAISE Foundation is the educational foundation of the Printing Industries Association Inc. of Southern California. It is a private foundation, established in 1974 byPIASC to foster graphic arts training in secondary and post secondary schools. PIASC Insurance Services Inc. administers RAISE as a nonprofit California corporation and a Board of Directors governs it. RAISE Foundation underwrites numerous annual educational events to benefit graphic arts education. Programs such as the Student of the Year Award Competition for secondary and post secondary students, Surplus Drive, Student Assembly, Technical and Academic Competition, T-shirt Competitions, and over 100 presentations of the Museum on Wheels. |
