Zonta Club of Pasadena was founded in 1919. The organization has provided millions of dollars in scholarships to deserving young women around the globe. Knowing many people are denied fundamental freedoms simply because they are women, Zonta International works to make the world a safer, healthier, and more equitable place for women through education, service, and advocacy programs. This chapter of Zonta International was established in 1929. Our membership consists of business and professional women from Pasadena and surrounding cities. In addition to monthly meetings, members are urged to take part in volunteer programs already established in the community as well as projects that are club-initiated.
